Another local artist to look out for is Mike McCarthy.
(I play for him). He is sorta a mix of Ben Harper, Bruce Cockburn. Australian folk/blues/groove, whatever.
This guy has talent. He is a freak on the guitar and mostly his songwriting is amazing.
He's done 3 Albums, all quality.
If you like that sort of music, check his stuff out

Mike McCarthy's a good bloke.

He used to be involved with my music classes back when I was in school.

Hey Brian,

How you doing? Haven't spoken in a while. I checked out your myspace. That's a cool idea for local bands. Keep up the good work!
